Well, here goes.. Been self employed since 97 and now in the last five years have watched ALL of what We were working for disappear. I cut brush with an excavator, had designed a great mower head and had it built and there ya go. hauled this machine on a triple axle Kenworth beaver tail flat bed. Before this, I worked for a power line maintenance co. doing the same thing driving a wore out ten yard truck towing a 20 ton tilt deck hauling a 150 size excavator. In all of this time I wound up with a hip injury and some lower back problems. I still get around well and am wondering if there is any place to work in the trucking industry, was thinking maybe oil field if any one will even talk to me. Back to being self employed, my wife and I had planned on getting ins. to get the repairs done to the ole body I'm 53, in some kind of shape not really over weight a little over 200 and 6' .
I'm pretty good at figuring stuff out and still have my cdl. I haven't taken the physical or drug test yet just trying to conserve money. I 'm in wa. state. and am willing to travel I do a fare amount of research but am new to all of this type of work. Just trying to get back into the swing of things. We are currently living in an rv at a rv repair shop at the back of the parking lot, have been there two years almost and it is getting time to move on. The owner and his wife have been a blessing to us.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just as a side note we are going to start to sell off the least used equip. first and so on.
Thanks....
