Well I can say the Corp is the same way now. I had plenty of what I would just call flat out idiots that dont deserve to wear the uniform in my battalion while I was in. They are getting much easier letting people in......
Went out with trainer, what an experience

One thing I get a kick out of is how the same people who get all upset when the media generalizes and unfairly portrays truckers often do the same thing when they post about the new breed.
I got my license through one of those mills and I've only been doing this for a few years. That makes me one of the new breed and I take a lot of pride in what I do. I don't park in the fuel island, in a non parking spot or without the truck and trailer in line. I don't cut people off or follow too close. I don't stop on ramps or anywhere else I will stand out. I'm clean, polite, courteous and try to help when I can. When I use the toilet I flush. What I don't do is try to make some claim that even though I'm new I'm 'old school' at heart or some other thing to try and distance myself from everyone else who is still pretty new at this.
Sorry for the off topic rant.91B20H8 Thanks this. -

As a CDL student I want to associate myself with THIS new breed of drivers! -
A+ would read again for the entertainment factor. You just can't make this stuff up!
