Well, I'll tell you what I would've done. I would've told them they're full of crap. And if it hit the fan, and they put it on my DAC, I would've sued them for defecation of character, for soiling my good name.

You are right but the thing about is. It is nearly impossible to find a good company to drive for anymore! All of them (just about) will stick it to you in one fashion or the other, with a big smile on their faces and straight up tell you....if you don't like it then start walking! I tell you the honest truth. I got laid off the first of this year and as of yet, I have found nothing local. Not even factory jobs. Now. I'm in a position that I can go to any trucking company and get a job because of my clean back ground but I am scared to death that if I do good back OTR, it's just going to be the same BS as it always been. There is a reason why drivers attitudes have changed so much in the last 10 years. Companies have the drivers so stressed out because of the treatment they receive. They ride around all day long P*&&$% off and take it out on the only people they have any contact with. Other drivers!! It did not used to be this way.

I was thinking I had to call them when I was picking up dog doo this morning.

 

Shoot it wouldn't take 10 min to clean up that truck.
1st get some zippo lighter fluid squirt it on mattress and wall
2nd. Light match
3rd throw it on mattress
Truck is now sterile.

I do not know what to say.. I work for Werner. I believe there is more to the story than is being told. I know safety would not put up with that and they would take steps to get it corrected, But then it might take 3 phone calls.
