Anyone who applies for a driving job anywhere, needs to ask what they are going to make in regard to salary. If you don't understand what the person is saying, ask them to explain it to you so you understand it. It's your future and your paycheck, ask the questions... Don't forget about deductions and advances. There is post after post about people who aren't making what they thought they were going to make. The shiny flyer may not have current information. ASK.

Does this include ALL former employees ???

Or do they have to be current, to be labeled a whiner? :biggrin_25525:

I can't whine. I don't work for them, never have.

But the guy that came through orientation with me, had 4 years with his wife as a team. I woulda left them, 2 weeks after I had started.

.38 a mile for a team, with 4 years experience. All of it at Werner. And he liked it :biggrin_25512:

mississippimud, in order to make good money at Werner in today's economy is to get on a dedicated account. I'm on the Dollar General account and have not had a paycheck less than $500 yet other than the 1 week I spent in Tulsa broke down and waiting on the dealer to fix my truck. I'm making $.34 per mile and I've only been driving for 2 months solo.

So Farva, how you liking Dollar General so far? i did dollar general before the rolltainers came where it was all hand unload. Good workout, but i did DG out of Indiananola, MS on a temp basis, god that sucked. I did it June-August, probably the hottest time in the south haha...

That account location...sucks big time. But they did repave the lot last year.

I ran there with another company...Hurry up and wait forever in the parking lot, then get your dock and get unloaded....fast.

    It made no sense :biggrin_25512:
