WTF, my FM is cool yet you get 1500miles @ .30CPM = $450 gross and like $300 take home a week. How is that Cool? Fast food would look spectacular in your case.

Yes, all Fleecers are all doing good when you ask them. They have to, they got into it for the ego not the money. Calling themselves 'business men' strokes there fragile little ego and inflates their own self-importance. None will tell you they are loosing their ###. They can strut through the truck stops and mega-crap terminals with the air of importance that they never could as mere 'truck drivers.'

At 1500 miles a week @ 30cpm, I don't see how anyone could seriously consider leasing on to the same company that pays that.

I think it's crazy to have a trainer that is 23 years old with less than 2 years exp.

I can agree with your point.

The deal is at the training companies is the turnover. With 100% turnover, 2 years experience is a very senior driver at the mega's. The average driver has 8 months experience at a Mega. If they didn't give 'trainer' status to the drivers with 6moths experience, they would have no 'trainers' because shortly after 8 months 100% are out the door. Their whole business model would shut down.

I am still stuck on the 30 cents per mile thing. Is that really what someone makes at Werner? And if the men are making that, then the women would only be getting paid 21 cents per mile. How can that be?

    Sir,
So that is 60 hours of training. The rest is cheap teaming. Very cheap. Think of the risks you take sleeping with a feller driving with less than a week of exp. That first night you sleep, the driver drives their first time on their own. Scary! Jump ship, Jump now! Don't wait for more experience just go. Put in your notice today. Almost any other company would be better. -Check out some of the better truck co out on here. Next post I read from you should be how happy you are at Trucking co doesn't suck as bad as Werner.
