You know what, how much over was the speeding ticket? I'm bettin it was a lot. Anything over 15 mph totally destroys any hope of getting insured by their insurance company. However, if it was not convicted it shouldnt matter...

Sorry to hear about your experience. Thanks for the info, I can't remember any accidents or tickets maybe I need to get my 5 year MVR and make sure it is clean before I fill out any more applications. This is really a turn off toward Werner.
-
Why do you think he got fired in the first place? From not listing them when they were 3yrs or less.. Trucking companies do not got to hear you explanation on why you did not put it on the app. You can talk until your blue in the face, one you put your self in that position they consider you a liar, and not worth the risk in hiring you.Jimbo60, luvtheroad and Pur48Ted Thank this.

####, I should've fought that 4pointer in court. I bypassed a scale thinking it was closed & of course got nailed for it mile down the road. +5 went to +1 just like that.
-
That's going to be an issue. They will list it as lying on an application which will make it difficult to get hired on anywhere. That's some dirty ####.

Directly from Werner's online application...
It says tickets, not convictions. You can not hide info and not expect recourse. Honesty flags fly. You handle millions of dollars in freight in a trucking career.
Another word of advice, trucking companies can get upset over one thing and fire you for something completely different. Your trainer could of said something to them.luvtheroad Thanks this. -
I disagree with most of these comments.
If the ticket was dismissed and another was found not guilty then you don't need to list them on appl.
I only list tickets with a conviction. Thats why my record is clean never convicted. Only a licience suspension requires a follow up even if renstated
I think there is another reason you where canned. Werner would of checked cleared drive record before allowing you to get in trucik
The dmv record should of been expunged if there was no convictions.
You might want to check with DAC and make sure Werner did not nick you -
Your right bigblue. It is actual convictions but I was pointing out the way Werner had it worded. That's why I think the trainer said something like he doesn't think this driver is cut out for it or something and they made up an excuse to get rid of him.

Werner lies to newbees everyday!

Did anyone see this but me?
They did a review board and decided in his favor!
So....It's not like they didn't know about the tickets.
Sooooooo......What else is going on here?
