    My 2 cents..
The Werner offer sounds like the quickest way to get your time and miles in. As established carrier, they have a nationwide freight base and mostly newer equip. Being A NE. company you may get the opportunity to pass thru the house more often. Your goal is to drive together right?
I would take the team offer and do whatever is necessary for each to reach the 1 year incident free point.
You can search and wait on a few cent per mile but the quicker you get started the sooner you'll have the upper hand.
Only then will you guys be able to pick/choose what's best for you as you see it.
Keep in mind when companies say " average 5-6K" per week that it's a sales pitch. More likely 4 to 5 per week. Especially as newer drivers it will take some time to become proficient and learn the ropes out here. Ask about guaranteed mileage and see what they say.
Like many have said..higher pay but more sitting doesn't make a happier camper..good luck.

Werner has a terminal here in Colorado that's about 20 minutes to a half hour away.... so that was enticing. The recruiter told me first year teams are making 65k - 70k each a year based of the .47 cpm and 5000 to 6000 miles a week.

I know he's a recruiter... but if that was the case.... it would be nice. I questioned him on the amount of $$$$ first time teams can make.... but he was adamant that it was true.... so who knows.

Always remember if a recruiter is speaking ...they are lying.
Take the promises w a grain of salt.

Don't know much except what I've heard on here but the scuttlebutt has them being close to insolvency for awhile.

Too many Darn Trucking companies out there.... how can anyone make the right decision? Paralysis by Analysis. The wife is leaving the decision to pick a company up to me. Sounds like a trap.
