That is a great point actually. I always wondered why the aviation industry has fresh flight school graduates training new students.

Actually a flight school graduate being handed a flight instructors job isn't all that fresh. First, they have to have completed a private pilot's flight training course which is generally quite a bit of flying, and continued on to an instrument rating. Then, there's also ratings in the kind of aircraft they will be instructing in... complex (generally meaning high horsepower, rectractible landing gear,) multi-engine ratings. Finally they have to have enough hours and pass the commercial pilot's rating BEFORE they take the certified flight instructor's rating. There's a lot more to it than our 90-day wonders "training" a newb in a semi.

Yes, the amount of training given to fly is more. Flying a plane is more difficult and cost you around $60,000 to complete.

I think your missing the point.

A student should be qualified to teach what he has learned. Otherwise he should not pass.

I'll disagree with that. There is the matter of proficiency, which mere training does not provide. That comes with experience.

I'm not talking about discussing the company as being political. The black vs white issue I was talking about was about a race related post which had nothing to do with how Werner scams, a post you apparently didn't get to read before I deleted it.

I deemed it inappropriate for this thread and removed it. I have no intention of moderating opinions on Werner or how badly they suck. However, if you start posting politically inflammatory posts that have nothing to do with the company in question, I will take the necessary appropriate action.
