BUT here are some decent to good companies im not 100% sure on all of there hire areas so you might want to check on them: JBS (is in CO) KLLM Roehl May WEL Companies they all hire new drivers, some are better then others, I know WEL is a good company not sure if they hire from CO though... American Trucker
I am taking my truck to them tomorrow. They can kiss my *** this was the worst mistake I have ever made in my life and I have made many of them.Couple about killed me but I would do them again 5 times over before I would ever deal with werner.
I find it odd you got those miles for March. I doubt you did that much man. I work for Werner also and they do not run that hard.
I double checked with my pay stubs and it matches, that's including dead headed miles this month might not be as great since my fm told me he will keep my mostly running that kc shuttle from pittston to mechanicsburg and around the area
I've got 38,500 actual miles for the first quarter, so that's an average of 12,833/month. His numbers aren't far off, and could be realistic if he runs a tight route without many unpaid miles. I usually sit for 34-48 hours a week, so he could make up a lot of the difference right in there when his 70 let's him.
I don't ever sit unless is to take my 10 hours breaks and reset, for example I ran from Nashville to Chicago and I had about 2.25 hours left on my 11 hour. He sent me to do a split that took me almost 2 hours.. I'm not even 2 hour into my 10 hour break he already have my next load ready for me. And that's every day I'm on the road. He will run me as hard and legally as possible.
