Yea, I think SNI is a good choice to start out with. Nice facilities, nice freight, not so nice trucks at first tho' but a well run outfit.
Werner long story but all true

Wow..... just... WOW.....
Now I see why everyone told me to run away when I got a pre-approved employment with Werner. I'm used to the ol government hurry up and wait dance, but.....wow.... I also see why being a O/O has its pros.
I hope things worked out for you bud.Last edited: Sep 1, 2010

well i knew werner was a joke when i called and talked to the recruiter. i have 7 months experience running the northeast and down south to sc. well i fill out my app experienced. he takes down some more information about the guy i drove for. so i give him the phone number and all. first thing he ask is this a cell phone. yes it is why does that matter? oh well we cant verify this employer by a cell phone so we have to send you out with a trainer for 8 weeks. So i asked him. Why do you need me to go out with your trainers do they need help learning how to drive their trucks or something? he said no its company policy i said well funny thing swift could verify him with his cell phone its called picking up the phone and not being lazy. so needless to say i go to swift next week. sorry to hear about your exp with werner im #### glad i didnt go with them

I was with Swift for 6months. the trianer/mentor i had was great. we still talk. I had to leave due to a family medical thing. I am looking at goin back too. They all have there ups and downs, its what you make of the experiance. I was based out of Syracuse NY and ran mostly east coast and NE. Good luck Peterbuiltlover

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I knew if I looked I'd find a similar story to mine!
I'm so sorry about your time wasted at Werner bud. They f**ked a lot of us apparently according to a few friends I made at Werner. I'm glad you made a log about what happened, I was in tears not but a few moments ago from laughter and had to make an account to be a displaced witness for this man. It's happened to him, my trucking buddies, and myself.
Beware of Werner. -
I would send this very thread to the board of Werner. Make sure they know you are not interested in your job back, but I'll bet the top of the food chain would be appalled at your story.

i don't understand why Werner say they have no trucks .
cause i live near the lithia springs, ga terminal and it's full of trucks.truckinmike1984 Thanks this. -
im convinced that most these companies could possibly get away with murder after reading this

They told me the same thing when after I completed training....
Werner:WE GOT NO TRUCKS!!!
Me: So, what about the ones outside?
Werner: haha, you don't want those.
Me: Yes, Yes I do. The brand spankin' new Cascadia.
Werner: They got electrical problems
Me: Got a solo I could get on with to team?
Werner: Nope.
Me: what the ####.
