Yeh, I've tried most of them and always the same result. Either not enough experience or need to work for a company a year before they can hire a driver previous released from a company.

I hear OTR is a lifestyle. Seems that companies knowing this really don't care about drivers. With the high turnover rate and a complimentary student pool always replacing the existing workforce. It's no wonder why companies don't really care if a driver freezes or roasts to death.
I caly describe OTR as spartan lifestyle at best. If one can not adapt to their surroundings it will be hard. I agree, -11 degrees is cold. But what incentives does a dispatcher have to keep his driver from freezing? Nothing, zilch, all they care about is getting that product moved.
To the driver, they can really care less about them. I sure they hear hundreds of drivers complaining about this and that. They've become inmunned to drivers needs. -
As for Werner, they may not force teams but when teams is presented as your only option to staying on your trainers truck til something opens, sounds a bit suspicious. Werner has a constant ad that runs on most job sites and newspaper ads. I've heard the stories of having to stay on the trainers truck 2-3 wks after you've already given them 300hrs of driving or the other option was to go home and wait for Werner to call you when something opened. -
