Are you on dedicated, 48 or specialized?

And who exactly do you want to contact? Someone to talk to about your dispatcher not taking action regarding your mileage, or someone who can correct the errors as they happen?

I think I would like to check into driving for Werner. I live in mid-mo and dont know alot about trucking so would Werner be a good place to start? Family and home time very important so could a guy get home on regular basis just starting out? Pay is also important but dont really know what is good and what is'nt.This thread has been very informated for me, thanks all for that. Also how does a newbie know or get to know all these little ins and out about trucking?

Dedicated, and both. I have gone as high up in the dedicated account as you can, get the same answer, just the way it is. If you know somebody higher, that is who I need.

Mule, who do you drive for? I really think on trucking and always back out because of horror stories. I been umemployed for months and dont have any money to sink into a trucking job.My family is more important to me also, but me not working has really put us in a bad way. So i would mind being gone to start out while I made some money, if there really money out there to be made.Thats a big "if" from what I gather from here on the forum.

C'mon Bad, you make $1100 a week because you probably run a lot of stuff around the big apple. Don't mislead people in the heartland regions lol. I will say, the only negative I've heard about Werner is from the forums. I have yet to hear a Werner driver #####in' and moanin although I don't think I could enjoy driving the frankenwerner trux lol.

    I'm a Swiftie so i can't say much lol.

Well I'm brand new to exploring this career field and I've considered Swift and Werner once school is over with. I'm still serving in the middle east and have been for 5 years as a defense contractor so I welcome the change in careers. I've really enjoyed reading all of this on here. So what do you think of Swift since you work there. Badinfluence definitely has my ears to Werner since I've read so many bad posts. I just figure that through all the bad there has to be some good in these companies.

I'm from San Antonio, TX and will be attending Roadmasters there in the near future. Any word on the goods and bads of this school? Thanks all and happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you Bad. Thank you very much. You just made my night a lot better. I found this website by just typing in trucker comments in google. I went right to the Werner forums and all I saw in caps in almost all the posts were RUN AWAY! STAY AWAY FROM WERNER! WERNER SUCKS OMGROFLSTOMPBBQLOL! You know how it goes.

I am a student at the C1 trucking school in Indianapolis right now. I should be graduating either Saturday or Monday of this week. I am pre-hired with Werner. My orientation is December 8th at the Allentown, PA terminal.

Before reading your posts, I was getting very very worried that I was walking into a horrible company. Reading this makes me believe that this company will treat you as well as you treat them. Anytime you work for a big corporation, you can't expect to be babied with everything. They have a company to run. If they were to hand everything on a silver platter to everyone, then the company would have a LOT of happy employees, but would most likely go out of business because of over expenditures on their employees. What I got out of your post was pretty much if a person does everything legally according to not only the state laws, but the company laws, put in your time due, then Werner will be just fine.

I would like to thank you for your time with your post. I look forward to starting my job with Werner and finding out for myself. Hopefully my experience with them will be as good as the experience you have had with them.

    Marty007 and bMac Thank this.
