Finished my first week with FD out of Ardmore. Got a few sore muscles but that can be expected. Made 4 drops yesterday and had to spend the night at the last drop but made it home for the weekend and reset. Get to watch the Superbowl at home, yea. Got three trailers delivered last week and I started on Tuesday. Got lucky with all good locations this week so easy in and out, nothing difficult.

Second trailer on Wednesday was a 4 stop but the last stop consisted of taking 4 totes from one store and delivering to the final. Just pulled into the parking lot and used two shopping carts, easy 15.50 for 4 totes and 15 minutes.

I'll see how the next couple of months go as I'm considering buying a truck. More money but more risk involved as well.

It's been a pleasant journey so far with Werner. Now that I am on the Dollar General account out of Ardmore, we get very up-close and personal with our FMs. I had a blast on 48 state van but decided I'd rather be more physical and get home every week for reset.

I just finished my first week regional 2000 miles in 4 days, never had to sit to wait for a load..it has been a night to day change... It might not be a bunch of miles but atleast 400 dollars a week cover my bills and gives me a lil wiggle room

What the hell? They only pay you $.20/mile???

WHY DO THAT? I can make $400 in 2 days doing odd jobs at home!

My trainer was good. He armed me well for the task at hand. Took me 4 weeks and 5 days to finish my training. We definitely put some serious miles on that 06 Frightliner. Covered every state except New England.
