Yeah what sunk you was the mud bogging and needing a tow truck.

yeah, but it was one fantastic ride. There were a few seconds I was thinking I'd get up close and personal with the mud on the passenger side.

I learned the hard way years ago in a car. It slid in the ditch as well. Alot less to tow out though.

I only pull off where there is solid pavement to stop. Especially when it has been so wet.

In your rookie year, it is all about learning.

Just curious, where you looking at now.

still got focused on the 1000-tractor range. Toss in Schneider and maybe Crete for good measure.

Of course, Watkins & Shepard are at the top of my list.

If the apps I have in now don't pan, another board member has been kind enough to provide the names/contacts for a fair number of locally based companies he's familiar with. I'd rather go back to OTR - it's a hoot - but getting back into a truck is more important than where it goes

It is strange how the life style gets in the blood.

In my rookie year, I flattened the two outside duals on the trailer turning too quick. It was my third week. Learned not to ever get in a hurry again.

    heh

yeah, I've equated OTR to crack on another thread. It's not a lifestyle, it's an addiction (or maybe a disease...)

I learned waaaaaay back when I was 17 not to get in a hurry. But I also learned that "hurry" is an attitude - and is not directly related to 'going fast' :)
