Werner Pay

    I just got done with werner, im a 20 year vetern driver, ive been a owner operator for 16 years of my 20 year career, fuel went up th raytes didnt. So i looked around an realized im 40 yares old now an im gona need insurance an retirement for me an my wife an child, so i hired on with werner, i talked tothere recrueter an he promoised me 38 cents if i stay out a month an 6 days home time, well i get there an go through there littel oreintation in atlanta ga, i get assighned a tractor rite off th bat to go pick up on a recovery, it turns out to be a total wreck an filthy!!! Th cab shackels was broke under th tractor an every time i had to breake i was literaly starein at th pavement!! I take th truck todallas an they tell me its broken but international wont back it because its not under warranty, so they told me i had to deal with it, you could actualy feel th saftey sraps on th back of th cab grabing wen you had to stop, you could take one hand an rock th cab like a rocking chair all th way till th straps caught it was beatein th hell outa me an destroyin my gear!! So i got poed with them in dallas an told them to come down from omaha an drive it i was through, so before my cab could get there they put me in another ol woreout tractor but it was safe, so i left an countinued on, geting to th pay i was told 38 cents for a month out but i was actualy paid 34 cents an my home time i was told i would get was 6 days for 30 an i ended up getin 3 days for 30 an they would jerk me around like a chain to keep from getting me home!!! An not to mention i was told i would get between 2800 to 3000 miles a week with no problem but in all actuality after i turned them down an told them nicely as i could that i didnt want to be a trainer my miles drored to 12 an 1500 a week, so i finaly git tired of th no miles noo money getin lied to an found another job, i told them i didnt want to disscuss it with them any further that i had found a much better oputunity an jus wanted to get to atlanta to turn in there tractor, so they started tryin to jerk me around an keep me from geting to atlanta to turn in so i jus told them in tussxaloosa after dropeing my last load i was goin to atlanta ga to turn in th truck an that i did they told me if i didnt stop an stay in routetill i could get there loaded they were gona charge me outa route miles an a bunch of bs, but by that time i had had it with werener an took it on in any way an had a cab meet me at th terminal an took me to th bus station an that was it!!!!!!! Thats th worst outfit ive ever worked for an th worst peopel ive ever delt with!!!!!!! They realy need to be put out of buiesness!!!!!!

    Im w/ werner. East coast. .26 cpm then they hold. 4 cents for a month just incase i get into an accident. Been w/ them for 8 mo. Barely make 300.00 week. Usually get 200 week. And i run my ##### off. Some people do make more but i have a good guess that Werner picks and chooses who to bestow their blessing on.. (lol). They advertise you can make up 45000 but obviously not everyone will make that especially because Werner gets 1500 new employees every week with some govt inncentive but there isnt enough trucks per amt. Of students. Your pay will also determine how load planner/ dispatcher assigns the loads. Many loads are split

    I'm going to ATL Tuesday to start orientation Wednesday for the East Coast driver's choice route. Is this what I'm going to have to look forward to? Are you on tuition reimbursement to make your pay that low or just not getting loads?
