Hehehe. I just got a new dispatcher (was on Erik's board, he apparently got a better board), running HARD like when i first started for these people. I was wanting to go to another company but i dont think i can now. LOL.... Ran a good 500 miles today (woke up in hodgkins, IL, hauled butt to downtown cincinatti, unloaded, got loaded just north of cinci, delivered in Lapel, IN (just north of indy), brought my empty trailer to indy, bobtailed to the J with exactly 0 on my 14 hour clock. Wow. What a rush. Should get a nice check this time. (except im expecting a big 0 for this check from going home for a week and breaking down)

Same for Passin's friend. Trucking probably contributed to it, sadly.

    GatorinSC Thanks this.

Hell my bad check ended up being $50. Before i even looked at it i got a message from my FM, "hey noticed your check sucked so im giving you an extra $100 on this load". Cool. Must be a high paying load LOL.

So far its going great. I was going to run out on my 70 before I had hours dropping off though, but i'm going to canada tomorrow so i'll probably not require a 34 hour restart. Going home next weekend so miles probably wont be as awesome as this week was. Expecting a 4 digit paycheck after reimbursements...

Well... we have experienced yet another "Goose Egg" and are not happy... but hey.. have to grin and take it, right? lol Cause 'Werner Cares'.. :D After figuring out what to do this week I am going to tackle the hubby down and talk to him about it and see what we can do.

I am so glad that things are working out for you phroziac!! Jealous even.. lol Can we have your FM? :p I am amazed that you are getting that many miles and they are not making you swap out or live load. Or better yet, that you have a truck that runs.. lmao

Thanks for the enthusiasm. By your standards, I'm hoping for a 6 digit check.

Well if it makes you feel any better Im low on hours on my 70, my FM got me a load that i shouldve been able to get a 36 hour restart on (this truck has to stay compliant with canadian HOS also), but got screwed out of it by 6 hours. Got sent to canada. Load sucked without a restart. Etc. Had to swap onto that load because the other driver doesnt go to canada.

My truck tried to break down. I'm going to need a new radiator soon it's starting to leak 2 gallons of antifreeze a month now. My AC doesnt work and it was 80+ in virginia, ran out of hours at a dock and had to try to sleep in that weather in the daytime...

Ive had quite a few live loads but most were at smaller places that arent morons. Live unload today at home depot, took fifteen minutes to unload plus another 30 minutes for all the other stuff associated with going in a big place like that (checking into multiple offices, guardshack, finding boltcutters...). Live load at another place, took 45 minutes total, including backing in, loading, and faxing the paperwork. Spent 20 minutes talking to the production supervisor about the fact that most UFOs are owned by the US military and that they're going to use them to take over the world. Apparently he's as much of a nutjob as i am. LOL.

Got lost for an hour today in toronto thanks to my GPS. I knew there was a flying J 5 miles from where i was, i looked it up on it and hey, it showed a shortcut on city streets that i knew were truckroutes, without getting on the 401. It took me to a friggin golf course. By the time i got on the 401 i had been dispatched on a load. LOL.

Then I made a bad decision on a route, wasted another hour on that one. Took the QEW from Hamilton to Toronto to get on the 401 to get to Detroit. I forgot that the QEW is shaped like a horse shoe, so I was going east until i got on the 427. Durrrrrr. LOL. I felt totally out of it today in general, dunno why.

Admittedly if you'll look at Toronto on a rand mcnally trucker atlas, from exit 90 on the QEW, it honestly doesnt look like either route is shorter. Partly because its totally impossible to measure them because the 403 and QEW junction is not on the toronto city map, and because Toronto is in the spine of the atlas, which makes it almost impossible to use...Great job Rand.

Don't be too jealous. I'll have a bad week sooner or later. I just got lucky and only went to areas with good freight for most of the week. Chicago, Indianapolis, Virginia, Columbus, Cincinatti.....
