That’s not true I’ve met several people who killed someone while driving a truck and they are just fine.

    1) Driver finishes his 10 hour break, pretrips the truck and then walks into the truck stop to use the bathroom. Comes back, checks the mirrors and then pulls out. As he’s leaving the truck stop he sees people flagging him down so he stops.

A mentally retarded worker (not a joke, actually retarded) was cleaning the parking lot and crawled down by his tandems to pick up trash and was killed. The D.A. looked at it but declined to prosecute. When the D.A. didn’t prosecute, the company decided not to punish the driver either.

    2) Flash rainstorm and a motorcyclist driving beside a truck in the passing lane lost control and went under the tandem wheels of the driver I knew. Same story. D.A. declined to prosecute and the company didn’t punish him either.

Well they were definitely fortunate that it didn't screw them up to the point that couldn't drive again. For some when something bad like that happens it really jacks with their ability to get past the horrific nature of it. Knew a guy one time that rolled over an killed a farmer. Wasn't his fault. It was caused by a reckless driver passing him as the farmer pulled out of a field. He tried maneuvering to avoid the farmer but rolled over in the process. He never drove a truck again. It ate him up mentally.

That's advocating for (and apparently admitting to) a hit and run.

Definitely, all three should be charged and jailed.

The precedent this sets is horrifying.

Someone suicidal can just stop in the middle of the interstate or someone again can do what happened here again leaving their kids in the car all the for family to collect millions upon millions of dollars.

    Fault does NOT matter..
That's why there's all those billboards of lawyers advertising if you'd been involved in a truck crash call them.

I think the most accurate verdict would be to honor those kids lives, and hang the parents. Leaving your kids in a highway travel lane. F*** the hanging, chain them to the travel lane. What a f****** world
