That's what I was told by my buddy whos been a driver for about two years now. I noticed if I stay out longer I get better and longer runs. I was gonna have a 450 mile run today until I told my dispatcher I was staying out until the 18th. So he cancelled my pre plan and sent me a new pre plan that was 1200 miles. I was happy about that.

Yeah, I believe if you sign a contract stating that they start you at .60cpm instead of .30 ;)

Do you want me to put milk on your cereal and eat it too? Some things you need to do for yourself. Pick up your local yellow pages and call every company and ask and if no success google companies and ask...there is those companies believe me.

    Thanks Rage lol

I'll admit I'm greedy because Im saving up for a truck. It'll take a few years but I'm saving up plus trying to pay down my car so I have a better chance of selling it sooner

We run all 48 plus Canada.

The farthest west I've been is Oklahoma. I don't go to Canada because I don't have my passport.

I have a '07 Freightshaker Columbia. They have new prostars and cascadias. I hope to keep my '07 as the new 2012 trucks have the battery packs instead of apu's. I don't have an APU, just a bunk heater.

I enjoy working for them. Their all 10 speed manuals. No auto's. Any more questions just let me know bro. I'll be happy to help.

Awesome info, thx! What's the difference between a bunk heater and battery packs? Naturally, I suspect I won't be issued a new prostar or cascadia...

Don't be so sure, there are some newbies getting 2012's.

The battery packs are used in the new trucks for heating and cooling. But some guys have run them and after 6 hours they die out and you have to jump the truck off to get the batteries recharged.

From what i read on Webasto's website, My bunk heater is like a mini furnace under my bed that runs off of the diesel fuel in my tanks. It heats the cab extremely well. Although I have no A/C other than idling the truck. On my '07 it will let me idle for about 15 minutes then shuts off. There's a little switch next to my ignition which I have no idea what it does, so I leave it in the off position. I imagine it's the shutdown override. Idk though. My '07 is great in winter, in summer it will be a different story if my truck won't idle. I'll just have to find out
