You can sit here and blame Werner all you want, but let me tell you this little story. I was driving on that really curvy stretch of I-40. You know where it goes through the Smokies? It's restricted to trucks in the right lane only, and something like 45 mph (I could be wrong about the speed). So while all of the other trucks were lined up nice and neat, doing it right and no one complaining, here comes a fuel tanker in the left lane about 3 feet from the bumper of a four wheeler, trying to scare him into changing lanes so he can get by. I mentioned it on the CB, and lo and behold, this same Supertrucker gets on there and starts saying how he's a fantastic driver, has been driving for 30 odd years, and since I had only been driving for a few, that I had no business telling him what was safe and had no idea what I was talking about anyway.
There are enough morons with all companies out there without singling one company out. They come in all shapes and sizes and companies.
And BTW, let one person on this forum come on here and tell me they have never done anything blatantly stupid and been saved by the fates, and I'll call them a #### liar right here and now...Jbrake1960 and Doc Daniels Thank this. -
yea that section is called The Gorge.

Tell me an OTR trucking company that has:
Lots of work for team drivers
Will take you out of school
Allows a dog (our puppy is family)
Has a terminal in central FL
Is currently recruiting
And me and my wife won't goto Werner next month. Go ahead, I'll wait. -
Hey Markers, try MCT, Central Refrigerated, Armellini, Crete(schaffer), Honey. Those are just a few off the top of my head. Check out careersingear or bigrigjobs. You can type in where you live and it will give a list of companies hiring in your area and what their requirements (and what they have to offer) are. Try to stay away from those mega-carriers! You also don't want to small of a company either since you are going to run team. Where ever you go husband/wife teams are treated like gold. My wife and I ran for Central and did really well. It's been a little while though since we drove for them so I don't quite know what their teams are averaging for miles. Good luck man! Let me know if you need anything.
