FINALLY!!! Almost done with training. I only have 60 hours left. Two weeks into training my trainer went home for 5 days which left me stranded at a hotel in AZ. A week after that the truck broke down for 4 days. That's 9 days of no drive time. Yeah I was still getting paid but who gives a #### about pay when completed hours are what get you closer to home and closer to higher pay. BE CAREFUL new trainees. I just noticed that my trainer has been putting live loads and unloads on me. This puts me on line four which takes away from my 70 which takes away from the total amount of time I can drive thus putting me on this ####### truck longer. I love working for this company but I'm tired of getting paid ####. (actually decent pay if you were unemployed) I'm ready to team.

If your just starting out make sure YOUR THE ONE who changes your duty stau s,NOT YOUR TRAINER. Some of these guys really know how to use their trainees and some of them will.Overall the experience has been great but I'm just ready to go home. It's going on six weeks. I want to see my kids. After this I have to complete a load on my own then I can go home. If you can make it through training I think you'll be alright.

Maybe my trainer is doing everything the right way. I'm not sure. In obviously less experienced when it comes to logs so I'm a little paranoid.
