Employees can double up on their contributions. Not surprised where companies cut back. Hope the employees have control of their 401K,,that its not some fund the company can borrow from and really screw the employees…unlike some union pensions..

Those are the 5 terminals that I know of and seen. At Carlisle my home terminal we have extra reefer trailers that were moved from Tucker because they ran out of space! Memphis and Zionsville have too many dry vans!

Looks like a lot of $$ and honestly it is. The thing is, look at the % of that compensation that is not cash but equity. I have not looked at any other carriers, but over the last year, this carrier has been trending downward. To be honest, I have been out of this side of trucking for so long, I have no idea if this is normal for the entire industry or if something stinks at Werner.

So the ratio of trailers to trucks is like 5 to 1? With us it's probably 2 to 1.

    More like 6 or 7 to 1!
The new trailers is more like 12 to 15 to 1!
Granted,we have trade tractors and trailers that have been decommissioned and are prepped to be sold off and removed from the yards but even those are outnumbered by a wide margin!!

Your guess is as good as mine. All of our trucks are already California as well as U.S. compliant. We’ve already have 2026 model year T-680s sitting and waiting to be activated. And those have minor improvements over their predecessors.

The 2026 model year aren’t the next round of emissions that’s coming January 2026, model year 2027. I would expect people to be prebuying trucks this year similar to 2007 because of what’s coming.

2025 T-680 on the left,2026 T-680 on the right. The 2025 has halogen headlight assemblies, the 2026 has LEDs. The 2026 also has additional aerodynamic trim pieces around the steer wheels. The 2025 and 2026 models also have unpainted lower body parts as well. Previous model years had painted panels.
