I know this post is old but funny but truthful, I had a classmate had a similar situation he complained and took pictures of all the trash in the floor and even the guy's dirty sh$$t stains underwear on the floor, he sent pics to safety and he was put with another trainer and the guy lost his training job ,so things can be done about this type of behavior. Great post op

So what was he doing driving a truck? What is with truckers and delusions of grandeur? I had a trainer who claimed he was from a very wealthy family in Scotland and that a family member was kidnapped by the mafia and he was "working on" the ransom.:smt101

I just want to know one thing.

What possessed you to think that ANY company is going to stick a wet behind the ears rookie fresh out of CDL school in the seat of a $150,000 tractor, with a trailer and cargo valued over $1,000,000.00?

I can only laugh if you actually believed a recruiting poster. Naive. Uninformed. Failed to RESEARCH. Unrealistic Expectations. Living in lala land. And honestly, just more of this entitlement garbage that the American youth seem to be going through at this phase in American history.

I'm sure there's companies here and there that will, but far and few between. Most drivers dont ever get a brand spanking new truck in their lifetime, especially not as rookies. My trainer is a 2 million mile accident free driver and he is just getting his 2nd brand new truck of his career. He got a new truck at 1 million miles. They aren't going to give an inexperienced driver new equipment to go out there and tear up and destroy. Just not going to happen.

Were did you think you were? Truck driver orientation? Or law school. if you expected to see people in business suits and ties, you're obviously in the wrong business. lol.

Well, here's the point I think he was trying to make. In any business you should at least attempt to represent your company in a professional manner, that is have your hair combed, and shirt tucked in at least. He may have been exaggerating a bit, I don't know. But in this industry there are entirely too many of the class he described. My company would never tolerate that.
