You can have a small to medium sized dog and if you have a cat you must have it de-clawed. I believe it is a $500 cleaning deposit if you have an animal on the truck.

The rider program allows you to bring girlfriend, boyfriend, mom, dad, just about anybody. Thing is they must be insured and you have to pay a monthly fee for anyone you bring on the truck. If they have no insurance you can get a temporary insurance on them and they must have a photo id made. When you go to orientation the hand book you will be given will cover all this and will have a helpful chart for what you should do.

Its more likely than you'd think. They've just about sold off all the longnoses, and most of the KW's are gone. That leaves mostly 387 petes and freightliner centuries in the 3-5 year old age range, which have the highest driver turnover rate, since very few have APUs.

I'm pretty sure if you talk to fleet assignments they'd be willing to let you wait a week or two for a 387, but by the time drivers finish training they're just dying to get their butts in a seat and will take whatever comes along first.

Also, you're allowed to trade trucks with other drivers as long as you go through fleet assignments to do it. If you happen to get anything with an APU, it'll be a huge bargaining chip.

Depends on the age and mileage. I have a 2006 387 with no apu and a buddy who works on the same account as me has the same model and year and has an apu.

Yeah, with my first trainer dispatch tried to run us team within the first several days. That is sorta a scary thought if you think about it. I am fresh out of school with maybe 40-50 hours of actual drive time. On my second day I am driving up the I-25 to Colorado with a full load. They are either very trusting or very stupid. I called my sdm immediately to have these ridiculous eta's changed. I have learned you gotta take care of yourself. My needs are to learn how to operate the truck and given guidance. I really wasn't given either by the trainer I had. I am awaiting another.
