Doesn't matter which one you go with. Both have good and bad. Like someone said.. it's the paint job that's the only difference. SNI don't even really use orange trucks anymore. They give you either white or a muddy sand color. SNI does a week OTR only. Werner 250 hours training.

Most don't even have them yet so only drivers who have been there a while will get them.

My husband just signed on with Schneider. His truck is a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia - and half of the 12V outlets don't work in it. No APU, no fridge, and nothing is allowed to be plugged in other than a 180Amp Maximum inverter. Aka, very little comfort.

All of that said, he is a rookie and expected nothing more than what he was given, which is a truck and the opportunity to learn.

The only frustrating thing about Schneider for him was that the Orientation training was just fine, but they only send you out for 1 week with a driver (unlike other companies where you will be out for weeks at a time), and in his experience, the driver was a local driver on a dedicated Amazon account out of Phoenix. The guy had a bad attitude, and a filthy truck, and didn't like answering questions. So my OTR driving husband literally was home every night during that training and got Zero real OTR experience before he was sent out on his own.

He's figuring it out. It doesn't make Schneider a bad company. They've done everything they said they would do and his CPM is fair for a rookie. He's taking it slow (aka, not making much $ at the moment), but that isn't due to Schneider, it is him getting his road-legs worn in.

I think that so far they're a fine company, haven't promised the moon, delivered on what they said they would deliver on, and he has the opportunity for plenty of miles. Just my observational .2c

That's pretty much the way it shakes out most of the time.
Tell him to hang in there and he'll be fine
