I know some examiners will not reveal the truth the to student/testee after a failed exam. Often times they are not comfortable or allowed to tell any negative information until they consult a manager. They like to get the wording correct and something down in writing before moving forward. Sometimes the issue is unemployment, sometimes the issues are employee safety. Whatever the situation was, it can be perceived as passing a test even after a failure. I wasn't there so my speculation is just that, I'm just trying to suggest alternate possibilities.

Ockham's razor = the simplest explanation is usually the right one. Ditch the conspiracy theories and look at the facts. You son failed a road test. Instead of accepting this, you choose to create the idea that Werner would rather have a revolving stream of inexperienced drivers. It is craziness. I have no love for Werner, or any other large trucking company. Just stick to the facts...not some dreamed up conspiracy theory

My husband just left Werner training after being on a truck for 3 weeks and getting if they are lucky 5 hours a day for training!!

If you run a TR search on Werner getting taxpayer funds for running drivers through their mill you will find many treads on the topic, and where there's smoke there's fire. The facts are as follows; my son passed his test in Lithia springs Ga,was assigned his truck and after 5 days of runs sent on a 10 hour night run to the main terminal Omaha on the pretext that his truck needed routine work done.I'm convinced that they have a set quota of X amount of drivers they have to get rid of to make room for the 700-1000 new hires coming in every week. After they did the dirty deed to him, my son told them we were going to post about his experience here on TR and they were welcome to dispute this post; I'm not holding my breath. They basically told him they could care less because for every one they fired there were 10 more jumping into the frying pan.I don't know how they can sleep at night and feel good about themselves knowing that what they are doing is morally wrong, maybe they have no conscience.
My son has a few interviews lined up next week and they are for better pay and more home time. He's glad to be home after 3.5 months OTR,Our posting purpose here is not for sympathy; it's to give a heads up to anyone considering Werner. Only a few folks are fortunate enough to find this forum in their quest to becoming a driver;we are so thankful for the good folk who take time out of their day to give us advise and information and try to do the same in return. That's all for now, time to get the boys up on the roof;we are replacing the old one in advance of our solar installation from HD schedualed for next week. -
next time a car pulls out in front of you, or pulls in front and hits brakes, just run em over...that'll sove the hard braking calls.

Exactly, you wont have to worry about safety contacting you while you're in prison.

I hope they do, it would be interesting to hear the other side of the story. It would also be stupid to post why you let a driver go, but it would be interesting.

I've witnessed accidents where the 4 wheeler slammed on brakes to get a tailgating big rig off of his/her as* end. If someone did this to me without provocation I would wait to apply the brakes just as the drive tandems were passing over the passenger compartment....
"Gee, I tried to stop as fast as I could'....
