    Just wanted to know, I'm thinking about starting with Werner. How are they with giving new drivers loads? And after training do they let you pick your own truck, if you want a pete, kw, freightliner????

    Hey there. I just started with Werner. Went to Omaha for orientation and am training on the Dollar General account. So far I really enjoy it. Plenty of miles, good people so far, etc. Do you get to pick your own truck? HAHAHA NOPE. you will be given a truck when they have a truck. I do not know exactly how they decide but I have heard if you get a DG account you will not get a long nose because the DG's ive seen so far are pretty small and you need to make sharp turns,
    Hope this helps will up date if i remember and when I know more myself.
    take care. i dont think they are as bad as some make them sound. I have not met a upset driver yet.
