I completed Day 1 of school at WMCDL. We started at 630 am and we were driving the trucks by 9am. The instructors I have met so far are great. Met a former student who pulled up in her Kenworth rig from Werner. Nice truck! They train on Freightliners here. Looking forward to day two! The training is fast but not overwhelming. I did stay last night at the Days Inn Hotel nearby the school. The room was not real bad but it was $80 by the time they added tax in and to make things worse there was a piece of pizza crust under the skirting along the bed and believe it or not a condom wrapper way under one of the night stand tables. The room was not that bad over all but the cleaning staff is lacking. I will be lodging somewhere else tonight.

I finished my first week and it was pretty cool. We were driving the trucks about two hours after we got their on day one. By the 3 day we were driving on the roads and the next day we were on the highways. The other guys in the class are some real great guys and the Staff is fantastic. They all are very good instructors and really focus on developing the students skills. I am really impressed with WMCDL.
critters Thanks this. -
I stand corrected, West Michigan CDL is a 160 hour school not a 120 hour

I am testing out this morning. I really liked the school. The instructors and staff are great guys. I would recommend wmcdl to anyone. I am going to sign on with Roehl from here. See you on the road!
