Yup!Just did my first ever west run and I won't do that anymore.
If you saw white Volvo climbing mountains@20 mph on US 87/277 today in Arizona,it was me.
Screw that!I am a company driver and they would have to pay me 75cpm what they ofc won't.So east for me and ofc midwest rules!

    Rocknroller4 Thanks this.

So you're saying you would rather crawl at 3 mph in rush hour than climb a grade at 20 mph? There's slow bits everywhere. I like the slow bits out west.

    Hoot67 Thanks this.

One thing the west has the east covered on is roadkill. Never seen so many dead animals as on the roads out there. The buzzards out there must be union. That or it's too hot to fly.

Rocknroller4, bzinger and Lepton1 Thank this.

I just want to say thanks to those that are saying they don't want to come west again, less chance of you moving here...:p

Don't knock on the roadkill, someday it may save your life...:D

Nope, buzzards out here are anti union. The lazy ones don't get an equal share.

MidWest_MacDaddy, bzinger and sawmill Thank this.

Summertime, East coast for me. Like my home time in summer and don't really like working too hard either. Winter, Western Canada and NW usa. Work hard all winter so I can take it easy in summer. At least, that's the idea ...

West is good for the soul, east and midwest is good for the bank account.

Funny to hear all the "west lovers" here during western fair weather times but when much of 80 is closed [several times] across WY for 36-48 hours next winter due to winds and blown snow, all you hear is griping about WY and how they're never coming back and they hate snow in the west, and never leaving GA and the eastern seaboard once they get back, if they get back
