Not really. If a person asks a opinion, we are all free to give one based on the information we have. I believe any driver out for any length of time can form a valid opinion on these companies based off of their knowledge of the drivers they hire, the equipment they run etc. Companies get reputations for many reasons, when the majority of those are negative, well it doesn't take a genius to conclude that perhaps there is something to it. Now, I am sure individual drivers enjoy working at all of those companies, just as I am sure that there are individuals who for some reason prefer to be homeless and broke. That's well and fine for those individuals. Again though, if a person asks for a generalized opinion, well I and others have given those, they are able to accept them or not.

So far it's been 1 year,1 month and 1 day since I joined Western and all things considered, I've had jobs that were MUCH WORSE before becoming a truck driver(you should see my resume, lol). We have a few driviers that have come over from Werner and Swift and from what I've heard things have gone downhill at both companies(however it looks like C.L. Werner is taking the company back over again and getting his house back in order). JB Hunt is still calling me after a year(in spite of the fact that they disqualified me because I didn't have enough experience).

Why didn't you just take it to a regular shop?
-
Has there ever been a "class action" lawsuit,as threatened by disgruntled drivers, that ever amounted toanything?
-
^There's one pending in Tennessee. Current and former drivers are suing the company because they failed to pay a minimum wage under TN state law.

I don't know what happened to the website that shows history of class action lawsuits against companies. Western probably "paid" or lobbied to take them down. That right there tells you what they do with the money that they don't use to pay the drivers.
Ive been to court before, depending on the circut, it can have up to 3 judges with multiple trials going at once. Minimum wage is almost a 10,000% chance of winning in favor of the prosecutor. There is a cap of 750k damages per person if its a class action. I don't know whats going on in Western, I have not seen as many of their trucks lately. -
C.R England has better trucks to sit in and not make any money.

Have you tried looking at state government websites. The class action wage lawsuit was filed in the Middle District Court in Tennessee, right in Western's backyard. And usually records like that are public access unless a judge or magistrate issues a gag order.
