And if they had nothing to hide , the hair follicle test would not be an issue. Leave HOS the way it is and bring on HFT!

hey daniel? im drug free and im not cool with cutting my hair to look for drugs. i will pis in a cup for u because i dont want it, but i do want my hair and have a problem with that. so when i go to orientation and am not cool with you or anyone touching my hair for drugs does that count as a "refusal to test?" you know what russians said while stalin took hold of that country? " IF YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO HIDE WHATS THE PROBLEM?" stop with that saying please. EDIT: pretty sure dweedle is a company brown noser(no disrespect i probably would to if i went from driving for them to a sweet 9-5 gig with them). now that is my opinion, and i will not have my hair plucked for drugs but you can look at my pee all day every day for drugs no problems with that i dont want it anyway
Your hair is not cut . And if you prefer they can take it off your arm , leg , etc. But times are changing .

I you would come and see what we have to go through you would change your tune. Now I never said we were the best company out there and by far we are not the worst either. Western is a student and second chance company it is true no hiding it. Do we have bad drivers? yes, we also have some very good drivers. Do we have incompetence yes. we also have a group of people that bust their tail off trying to make it better. Do we have a high turn over rate, yes just like any big company does. What is a good fit for one might not be for another. Now does that sound like brown nosing? I think we are better then a lot of places, but that is my opinion. I took a pay cut to come off the road.As far as hair follicle testing we do not. They can get hair from any place not just your head. It does not matter to me either way about the hir test.
You don't have to cut your hair, not all of it anyhow. IDK who has been feeding that bunch of crap. All I know is that they only did a piss test on me. I guess it depends on where u go but if they do a hair test it won't be a large portion of your hair to make it look crappy. Been reading some other posts on here. If you go to Nash, 2 days orientation for van, or 5 for Flatbed. You work around the clock. Yes you do get sleep for you 10 but there are days u might be out working 15 hours if you are flatbed. I will say that pay is crap for both and Flatbed but I get plenty of miles. I have been getting 600+ per check. Home time isn't that great either but I'm here to work. There is a lot of trash here sure and there are those that are trying to improve things. I'm watching from the sidelines here and so far they look to be pushing in the right direction to clean up their act. I would hope that one day Western will be one of the good ones and not just a second chance. Sent from my htc DNA
