I think it's better to apply directly on the company's website. I think that messed you up. Do they not have a full application on their website?

Yeah, I'm sure, I was coached by recruiting before I got down there, and I was following what was told.. either way got bamboozled, but I ain't gonna let it continue to kill my mood. They definitely wanted profit of my misery.. I won't make this mistake no more

Ten Street is on there, but you can submit it again and the old one will be replaced with the new application. Make the new application look better.

As @bryan21384 posted, use the apps from each trucking company website.

Worst comes to worst, wait 30 days and reapply to Western Express using the actual website. Maybe they take a chance again since you got off on the wrong foot.

But you got OWI. You've got an uphill battle with that on your record. You gotta get experience if you want to get to the better companies. The trucking industry is in a bad place, especially for new drivers, because of this freight recession. I've never seen companies as picky as they are now, and less companies than ever are taking new drivers. In any event, it's only suggestion. Keep that in your back pocket just in case. You don't want to go too long without using your CDL.

2 years is recent in the standards of most insurance coverage for trucking companies. Good luck, i think this will be deal breaker for most companies. Do what Chinatown said about new thread

Drivers who feel they were subjected to deceptive recruitment or unfair contract terms regarding lease-purchases or pay should consult with employment law attorneys specializing in the trucking industry to explore pending actions or individual claims.

does anyone feel western express has some predatory recrutment processes?

I’ll warn you, Tenstreet are crooked AF. If you’re employed by a company using Tenstreet and you apply at another company using Tenstreet, they will report you to your current employer. Likewise, everything you do through Tenstreet will get shared with any other prospective company using Tenstreet you apply to. Let’s just call Tenstreet a members-only, 3rd party organization for crappy trucking companies who like to do things “under the table”. HireRight is another 3rd party, POS organization that generates a driver’s “DAC report” (Drive-A-Check report). They are another members-only organization whose sole purpose is to help crappy trucking companies screw truck drivers, especially when a trucking company can drag your name through the mud, without having to provide proof. Then, it’s up to you to plead your case and hopefully get the slander removed from your name. I dont know of any other industry where this type of activity goes on. Unfortunately, with you being a new driver, you haven’t seen the worst of it, yet.
