Yes he is HISTORY! then you have to deal with the civil suits as well most drivers do not realize that YOU will also be sued when and if this happens. A friend of mine was in a accident with fatalities it was not his fault BUT he ended up in civil court and it is much much more different there! If you own your home and have a nice savings account you better have extra insurance because my friend lost his farm and all he had saved his full life for! He never dreamed of this happening to him, he had been out there for 11 years no incidents and then bang he is hit with that! sad to say but he is now living in an apartment and trying to get started again when he should have been able to retire by now.

Less than 2 years driving + recent roll over = you might want to look at a different career.

Honestly, overcoming a roll over is difficult even in the best of times. With plenty of experienced drivers looking for a driving job with no accidents/roll overs in their history and jobs tight, you have a difficult position to even get considered for a driving spot. If I owned a trucking firm, I'd have to pass. Sorry.

The only companies I would think you'd have a shot at are low paying, entry level companies like Werner or Swift.

Can anyone tell me why,and when many of their dispatchers left or maybe got fired?I am asking cause now I have to put up with eight of them,as they are working for a brokerage outfit known as W.W. Transportation.I would ask them, but you know, they hardly ever tell me the truth anyway.....:biggrin_2559:

No - not what I meant at all ...

He said the man (former owner) was "fair" and "honest"

Then immediately says "he didn't know how to run a trucking company" ...

The implication being fair and honest men do not run a successful trucking companys.

An opinion all to often shared by the management of these big outfits.

An opinion too common in this industry.

And you did not know this was how it would be before you signed up? shame on you driver.

Stand up and say something? What are you going to say that has not already been said? These OTR trucking outfits will close their doors before they treat you like you want them to. Trucking company's exist to make money not allow you or anyone else to live the Utopian dream.

The knowledgeable individual, not the collective has the power to make their dreams come true. Collectivisation just replace one tyrant with another.

Want to "stand up and say something"? Say I choose to better myself and represent myself and not give up my sovereignty and future well being to the collective.

If you roll a truck unless you have a perfect driving record and 10+years of
driving experience your big rig driving carrier is finished.Better start looking
for another line of work i dont know of any company that will hire you with
that type of accident on your driving record.

Did he have a crappy lawer or some thing i dont see how if he was not at fault they can come after him and take everything he had it sounds like he should of had a lawsuite against the other party involved there most of bin more to the accident then a cut and dry other person at fault.
