I know..jb hunt the bottom feeder makes cr england look good. Horrible co.

 

I can't recall ever taking more than 1/2 hr even if I was screwing around to tarp a load. That's $30/hr for the mathematically challenged and that's not bad in my book for any job.

 

I talked with drivers that had been with them for years but I can't recommend them to anyone out there after my experience.

 

Oh come on !! a fridge and a microwave... I find that hard to believe

 

yah does sound a lil unlikly but maybe not

i had a werner truck like that, they just happend to be buying anything they could get there hands on to avoid new emmision trucks.

strange truck though seats were 1400 bucks each had a fridge 18 guages real nice truck. had like a 30 $ cassete player in it though. didnt know they still made them. it was an 03 379 pete if i remember correctly

 

lol.. everyone threw the flag,western express is just another cutthroat motor carrier that hauls cheap freight. like most otrcarriers,30-34 cpm and very limited benefits. hed be better off at jbhunt,he might only avg 600 per week but they at least offer medical insurance that covers 90%

It amazes me how stupid truck drivers are . WHY would anyone stay working for a company that screws them over right out of the gate . How long do you think it takes ,to figure out your getting screwed .
When you have had enough and you tell your DM to get you to a terminal to turn the truck in , that DM needs to get you there . Not send you out of the way and do what ever they can do to keep you . Why do you think so many drivers just walk away and leave the truck ??? I have seen this so many times I cant keep count . Driver tells DM I want to turn in my truck and the DM sends the driver everyplace but to the yard . So , tell me , what is the driver supposed to do ? This industry is jacked up from one end to the other . And WE let it happen . And then you have all of these self rightious drivers who think they are the best to ever hit the industry and all they are is a bunch of idiots who havent got a clue that they are getting screwed . 99% of these companies out here dont give a crap about you as a driver . YOU ARE A SLAVE . You bust your butt to make money for everyone except your self . The companies attitude .... if you dont like it , theres the door .
The truth is , there are hardly any more companies left that give a dam about the ones who keep them in business . This industry is screwed and it will continue to be this way until we all stop fighting each other and band together and send a clear LOUD messege . The messge , WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH . The cure .SHUT IT DOWN . but no , thats to much like sticking up for your rights .Why cant we see this . what is it going to take to wake you all up ? To those of you who are bashing the guy who only stayed 2 weeks , how long is he supposed to stay ?,knowing it was not what he was told it was going to be . 6 months , 1 year 2 years ???? Dont bash people who have enough brains to get out when things arent right .You wanna get screwed , fine , there a few products that I suggest you look into . KY Jelly and Vasaline.Driver pay has been stagnant since the 80's and as a matter of fact its been going down . These companies LIE to get you in the door and when they hook you , you find out otherwise . Unfortunitly for alot of drivers , they have no choice and, thats really sad . But again , we drivers let this happen . The excuse of the economy is getting old . Most trucking companies are doing just fine . they are doing fine because they are screwing you the driver over . MAXIMIZE PROFIT , Whats the easiest way to do that , ATTACK LABOR . The industry saw what was happening from their business practices , thats why it is held against us when we job hop to find a decent paying job . They want to force you to to stay .So if you have a clean DL , CSA and DAC dont waste your time playing games , if they dont give you what they said , leave . Truck drivers are under attack and we are not doing a dam thing about it . American truckers are look at as fools by other countries truckers . Many other countries had the same trouble we are having and they did something about it and got what they wanted . We just sit back and say " OH WELL " and then we fight each other and belittle the ones who say enough is enough . So tell me , whats it going to take to wake you all up ????

 

Ok..... so....

If 99% of companies are like this, as you said and factor in the thousands of trucking companies.... and we only tough it out 2 weeks like the OP. That means we could be potentially working 2 jobs a month, 24 per year. ...

Alot of good outfits want job stability within the last 3 years. ...

So yeah... 72 jobs in 3 years makes for a awesome resume.....
