There is probably a way to direct us somewhere else for sound. I wouldn't have told them I was recording them. Let them dig a deeper hole.
Can you tell us what their reasoning is to charge you for a call for a flat to safety?

Any advise? He's been out of work since February because of cancer surgery and needs to get behind the wheel again! Good or bad company? Please let me know ASAP? Thanks!

That charge to get a flat fixed, Lovesthedrive said they charged him $25 per call. I have not seen any charges like that on my check though and I have been looking at my paycheck stubs because I will make them pay it back. I only had to call the breakdown line twice, once was for problems with the truck. Second time was to get lights that were burnt out on the trailer replaced. I am looking at my check stubs though, there are driver service charges $2.50 a piece, and "misc". $2.00-$5.00 each time.
Well the call was funny, he asked as soon as he said hello what was the beeping sound, then went on talking. Towards the end of the call when he was trying to say I didnt go pick up the load because I was out of hours. You can hear him kind of get a little rattled when he says it, making it out like I was just lazy and didnt go pick it up. Because they supposably ended up losing the load. Once he found out for sure the beep was recording, he only said "i will send a message to your truck telling you where to take the truck". He told me he would take me to the bus station and buy me a bus ticket. I am not stupid. They buy those all day online, book them and give you a confirmation number. I wasnt going to take it to OKC anyway because thats not where I picked it up from. And anybody curious, it has happened. If you dont return the truck (with any company) to where you picked it up from they can, (some will) put it on your dac as truck abandonment. Even for not giving a "notice" that you are quitting. God complex. One thing thats about to bring western to their knees. -

They didnt mess with my DAC, yet they didnot report that I even worked for them. Only evidence I have are my 2 log books from the company. The Company told me when I parked the truck that they were going to keep $400 out of my paycheck for parking in a non terminal location. I guess the only blessing is they didnt mess with my DAC. -
LMFAO, this guy is funny. Wonder if he still works for them and cheerleading for them. He just doesnt know. I wasnt even home 24 hours before they sent someone to pick the truck up claiming I abandoned it. Dude came to my house and got the keys, went with him to get my stuff off of it, etc. Hell I was sending messages to dispatch regarding my wanting to return the truck to where I picked it up to really cover my butt on the abandonment issue. But, realized, they got the burden of proof. How is a driver who is sending you messages from inside the cab of the truck, at his house, anywhere near "truck abandonment"? Just because they went on and sent a wrecker service to pick it up, and claim thats what it is? HAHAHA, I think not. -
