Second chancers shouldn't be staring a gift horse in the mouth. Instead, they should be grateful for the opportunity offered to them. I'm no fan of the megas but I'm glad they give some people a shot at a decent legal life. It helps the entire community in general whether you realize it or not.

 

Getting 4 preplns & complaining? Thats why companies have ETA/PTA. You just fill in the blanks as you go, & let C/S handle the rest.

Just run your hours & communicate drivers & stop worrying about things outside your control. Emphasize what you can do, not what you can't do.

Sucess in OTR requires diplomacy & communication with people who's only concern is moving & getting frieght assigned so they can go home. Learning how to keep your truck efficiency numbers up while others are struggling is quite easy when you learn how to deal with the clock watchers in the office.

My biggest headache was getting treated like a newbie & having a company wait till you put in a mty call before they looked for a load.

Im in dire need of a second chance and im hoping to get it at western express

 

Bunch of silly women working there.

 

I'm considering them for a couple reasons. 1. No on-board driver annoyance lights and beeps. 2. Let's you park the truck at home.

 

3. you screwed up at your last company

 

Haven't even started but only options are these mega companies man.
