What was your cargo? Things like this used to be one of the methods cargo thieves used. Pull something that would disable your truck a few miles down the road where you'd be all alone. Often the driver wound up badly hurt or dead and the truck/trailer/load gone.

Remember at all times that you are a big rolling warehouse full of valuables. Organized criminals can dispose of everything in your trailer in a couple of hours.
