In a rate confirmation their policy states not to check in 30 minutes prior to your appointment time at Walmart so they took $500 off my confirmation and took it from my family and told me I was the problem. Even the Walmart excepted the load they claim Walmart charges them, however, it was Mount Olive, pickles that’s who I hauled the load for. I did not negate any of Mount Olive or Walmart, rules or policies. The load was delivered, clean and clear I should be paid.!
They are legal thieves, stealing on paper.

Apparently you have trouble with reading comprehension
It's not their fault, it's yoursFullMetalJacket, bryan21384 and Concorde Thank this. -
I guess whatever policy is in rate cons you would expect to be penalized
Your ok with?
We have a constitution for a reason! -
Rate con states 30 minutes and you go in earlier it's on you. No one to blame but yourself.
Wal-Mart is pretty strict on that, whether they accept the load or not.88228822, Rookie driver 956, FullMetalJacket and 2 others Thank this. -
I take responsibility in my post so I know what I did wrong, but if these brokerages are adding policies that are unreasonable, Peace they can write whatever legal mumbo-jumbo they want and sooner none of us owner operators. The small guys are going to be in business anymore because of their policies, that’s what I’m trying to get out here.
-
That is a Wal-Mart policy, not the broker. I haul direct with Wal-mart and it's in their contract.Rookie driver 956, LoneRanger, Constant Learner and 3 others Thank this.

used to be 15 minutes on either side of the appt time.

Don’t like the terms? Then don’t accept the load. Seems pretty simple.Rookie driver 956, RockinChair, FullMetalJacket and 1 other person Thank this.

One is Sam’s and the other from Walmart.
Notice that they even typed it in all caps.
No where does it say pickles are exempt
I once got paid like $3.50 per mile to run 3? pallets of those pickles from NC to Vegas, lolRookie driver 956, Constant Learner, FullMetalJacket and 1 other person Thank this. -
