    Yeah Wal-Mart fines companies if they are early or late even if the security allows the driver on to the property. Most shippers communicate this with their carriers, along with passing on the fines, i know brokers can be bad about communicating that fact. Its typically 1 or 2 hours depending on the DC and freight contracts. Wal-Mart also makes rescheduling extremely easy to avoid the fines, compared to Target, Costco and some other large companies.

    It's a contract, not "legal mumbo jumbo." This is why I choose to remain a company driver. To not have to concern myself with even more legalese...
