Lol or the signs that say something like END 35mph outside of a town but no other speed limit sign. Usually means 55 in my area

Seems mostly dead. Only time the cb is ever even used by me is if there is a long backup on the highway and I’m trying to figure out what’s going on or what lane is closed.

That seems the only time you’ll find a lot of drivers even using it anymore, and even then it deteriorates into one or 2 guys arguing like idiots.

Agreed.. Backup radios, the only time they turn them on is during a backup.

Finding someone that actually speaks English is another whole rant.

Ah, the good old days. That movie was fairly accurate as to how some things were back in those days. That scene when Buford T Justice thinks he arrested the bandit in a RV brothel, but turns out he arrested the local sheriff , funny, very funny.

But nowadays police have helicopters and they’d tag the bandits plates and you’d see a high speed chase on the 6 o clock news.

Guess RV brothels are a thing of the past as well.

Once I bought a radar detector. I paid for the thing $400 in 2002. Then I started getting speeding tickets. It is a miracle that I 'escaped' revocation. But the lawyers and days off for courts visits...must have been well over 2 grand. Now, almost 20 years later, 65 mph feels ideal, anything above 70 mph just super fast and too fast. Maybe a men slows down in his middle age as a course of nature.
