What’s the difference between a 6 and 10 speed ?

What’s the shifting points of a 6 speed? I have to retake my cdl but it’s in a 6 speed. Any difference?

 

I’d imagine a bigger rpm drop between gears . I never saw a highway truck with a 6 speed .

 

Apparently they said it’s like driving a car Manuel but it’s a day cab

 

Supposedly, Mack had straight 6 speeds in the Econodynes?

 

I actually do think it’s a Mack I saw a Mack in their yard.

maxitorque 6 speeds were big back in the day, really depends on which model OP is driving though may just be a regular 6 speed like a pick up truck
