Frame mounted or primary fuel filter type.

OK, so can I get either one or is that Truck specific? I do know I have that little clear globe looking thing under my hood.
-
That's a Davco.
-
Davco normally isn’t changed until fuel is near the top of the filter.
Screenshot looks to be a pricing menu. Probably adds at least $50 to the pm. -
I’m curious about the difference between the Davco and Paccar ……… almost look alike
-
Davco is still an option on both Pete and KW with Cummins engines. If it has the rounded globe on top they are all Davco.
MX engines 22 year and newer have the water separator on the engine and is now an engine part not frame mounted.
The Paccar fuel water separator has a bowl on the bottom. Aluminum housing on top.Diesel Dave Thanks this. -
On my 2014 Pete
Big Road Skateboard and Goodysnap Thank this. -
I thought that was called a water separator
-
My globe is on top and like kinda in front of my driver side tire
