    That’s love.

Still remember drying one out in front of the shop heater one winter - rewarding task with a shivering, drooling , clumsy little baby in your hands - new to what will be a cruel world.

I get crap for not recommending spotters, nor offering my own help - for this reason alone.

    Driver always has the responsibility.

Woke up. "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

And trailer comes off as it was high hooked, like last weekend at the yard at work.
If you are too lazy to look under the trailer (or can't (drop deck)) simply pull out and turn the tractor sharply so it swings around before the trailer does. Exposes the kingpin lock. Now you have zero excuse to be lazy.

Desperate to turn around. Turned around in a too small uhaul yard in the dark. Got on the road and saw in my mirror I was towing a uhaul flatbed with my dot bumper.

Pulled onto the shoulder after hard rain. Right up to the hubs. $400.

I can tell I'm not high hooked due to the resistance when the 5th wheel lifts the trailer.
