I don’t have mine any longer because I need to fit on a 70ft scale. It takes a little tuck with a 53ft spread to do that as it is. A DDL on the trailer would help a little more there most places.

I have worked hard in my life. I have made it a point to be honest as possible, so as right by who I’m hauling for as possible. I run a 30 year old long hood Pete. It’s still a work in progress as it’s hard to just shut down for weeks while accomplishing a project. I don’t deal with brokers the guys handing me checks for hauling see my ride up close and personal pretty often. Knowing that I have done what’s been done to it myself gives them a bit of confidence in my ability to get em there. Or keep that ol rag motivating I guess. I run a new trailer that’s more important than a new truck in my opinion. Sure it’s got too many lights but I’m the one paying for it.

What I need is for someone to explain the difference to me in me spending money on that truck that is tied to my reputation my business and other’s spending their money on a 100k pickup or really anything you don’t need. That could all be considered over compensating. I think a man should have a sum of money in savings all the time but to work and only save, never spend just to leave it to some ungrateful as hell offspring lol that’s just dumb. I will also say them that cry over compensating…..deep down want one. Wish they could get one, hate life cause they can’t have one.

It’s ok fellas let anyone you want tell you how to spend your money, what you should and shouldn’t have.
Meanwhile ima spend mine on whatever I choose.

This year I paid off my house and both cars. I owe nothing to nobody. And that makes me feel pretty good.
I think the thought of 'I'll always owe something to someone" is silly.
I think success is coming out the other end clean.

No one is trying to convince you to like or buy a truck like any of these. Why don't you do you and let everyone else do what they want and just shut up about it. You think it's silly, we get it....
Go complain about the guys running complete junk up and down the road with parts falling off. Leave the rest alone

You don’t understand. All of that is tax deductible. If a fella makes enough money he’s looking for ways to spend some of it. Either spend it or give it to the tax man. I think I will spend it and enjoy it.

The whole “compensation” thing is a feminist shaming tactic.
If you and I met up in a watering hole in Ohio, you in your largecar, me on my motorcycle, to have a few beers and break bread…

    1. A Fearmonger would walk from the other side of the bar to tell me how he used to ride, but how he had a friend get killed and so he doesn’t ride anymore. I’m a little slow, so it would take me a moment to figure out was his friend an idiot ripping down the road at 3x the legal limit or is he an idiot for living in fear.

    2. A group of females would walk in, and every bootysniffer in the room would be on high alert, sucking in guts, checking to see if their fly is zipped and their atm balance, while trying to remember pick up lines designed to hook any woman. You and I would be discussing largecars, guns, old cars…etc. One of the women would be interested in largecars, guns, old cars…etc and would really like to join our convo, but her girlfriend would feel slighted because we aren’t Bootysniffin. “Those two are compensating for little Johnson’s.” The bootysniffers would all agree with them. So, this chick that labeled us as compensating would come over demanding attention. She’s vegan, drives a hybrid, an alpha female and you and I have to be intimidated and that’s why we are talking about largecars, guns and old cars. And she would tell us, while I am eating a 24 ounce steak how no monster that eats meat would ever bed her. Being a little slow, I would think this to be some sort of prank and so I would have to search the room for a cameraman. Nope, no cameras, not a prank. Prepare for hurt feelings.

Bootysniffers everywhere would be peacocking, swelling up, rubbing knuckles , attempting to play the CaptainSavaho Card. Step right up, fatboy. The bootysniffers would convince themselves that the women held them back, cuz otherwise things would have gotten really ugly. We HAVE TO be compensating!

With a multi national like lafarge you can bet “because it looks cool” or “overcompensating” ain’t on the list.
