What’s Up With Extended Frames?

My last truck went from reasonable to overcompensation and back to reasonable. I can’t speak for the guy hauling milk with it now, but I know my junk stayed the same size through the first two iterations.

 

It’s called having basic pride in your overall appearance.

 

Here’s one to confuse everyone. A Columbia only is super clean and polished. I’m sure this guy has some kind of issue too because he chooses to have a spotless truck.

 

True.. Eaton tried it as a tandem drive set up, but apparently the skill/alertness of the driver had a lot to do with actual function.
About that time an A50 Mack; with 5th OD in Bryan Bros fleet ,has trans trouble quite often. No assigned tractor to driver, and some would split 5th over with the duplex in while downshifting using 2 speed logic.

That Columbia with 24.5s is nice. If it has a 550 3406E Cat, even better.

I want to see some of these negative poster’s trucks. And, not everyone at once.
