Sounds like a good plan--they really look nice. I seen a deep purple one in Greer while i was there--someone was in process of leasing/buying it--i am not sure which but was real nice looking.

Guess i wont get one of them prostars then--LOL not anytime soon. I won't team unless i get my son off his arse to get his license and can't see me being a mentor--Leasing may be an option at a later date though . :) We will give it time and see what happens.

I know there are at least a few people that get Prostars. I met a driver in Greer who did not fit any of the above criteria, and he was in a Prostar! He is a solo company driver.
Those Prostars sure are nice. I hope the O/O stuff works out well for ya.

Robert, you were only on your mentor's truck for a week. He must've been a real doozie if he managed to leave such a foul taste in your mouth in that brief time. I hope you told Swift what the issues were.

And I sincerely hope you, as a mentor, are tough but fair. Our new people get most frustrated over not knowing stuff...like how to pay a lumper. We need trainers who want to train, not trainers like your guy at Star who team right away in order to get the money...making their students do all the night driving.

I guess you have to take what they give ya huh--LOL.

I never been a fan of international's but those prostars look really nice--I am okay with volvo's too. They ride nice n smooth until you blow an airbag then its kinda rough. Either way--I will be happy just to be back on the road. :)

It would be a plus to be lucky enough for a prostar though.

There are a number of Prostar midroofs that are for solo drivers. I understand there isn't a ton of storage in them, but with some creative stowage, it could work out nicely.

Thats good to know then but I would be happy either way--i drove a volvo for over a year so i would be comfortable in that too. Just never noticed till recently how nice those internationals do look and I truly love the paint on yours--its a rare color.

I did see a deep purple one in Greer the other day--it was also an unusual purple and looked nice.

    Injun Thanks this.
