what about central ? help

    Dont mind at all. Sorry for slower response lol was just responding to it on the other thread.

    CRST was my choice. But if you'll check the other topic it gives you an idea why. I wouldnt rule Central out at all in your situation.

    I can help you out a bit:

    I worked for Simon as a company driver and then for Central after the buyout. One thing I can say is that they did exactly what they promised they would do:

    1. Pay is at the low end of the scale, but they are willing to take you on with no experience and other companies might not.

    2. Hometime is not great but it is exactly what they promised: Out for three or four weeks and home for three or four days.

    3. Once you get the reputation for moving your load from point A to point B without problems, they loosen up pretty good and you can gain some priviliges other company drivers might not have.

    The bottom line is this:
    You want to be the kind of driver where the dispatcher can give you a load on Friday, then he can go home and enjoy his weekend because when he comes back on Monday he knows you will be where you are supposed to be.

    If you are that kind of driver, then you will have success at almost any company, including Central.
