Average miles for most of the good runners I would say averages anywhere from 2400-3100, give or take.

We run mostly east of the Mississippi. There are a few runs that go outside that. Dont see much FL, every now and then.

No out of pocket for scales as long as you scale out at an authorized T/A, Pilot or Flying J. There are times when you will have to pay for it. Submit your receipt with your trip paperwork and they will reimburse you.

Trip paperwork is sent in via the terminals. We have company envelopes to stuff everything and drop off at the terminals as you go by them.

Shops get the job done mostly. Some are better than others.

I would say the drivers get home on time 99% of the time. This is trucking and there will be a time when they may get you there late, but far a few between.

    rubberducky68 Thanks this.

Id say bear nailed it pretty well though I will look at my avg miles to give accurate comparison. I know I was not terribly excited about miles in jan and feb but some drivers I talked to would be happy to get 2500 mi a week. I track my loads and miles weekly with a goal of 3,000 miles being the minimum definition of a good week. And no im not a recruiter not really a "company man" anywhere I've been but I do respect millis and believe they value a good employee.

Thanks Sully. Please speak freely. I want to know the good and bad. In my time with Swift I found it to be NOT as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It was early 2009 and freight was slow. I hated sitting and did lots of that at times. However, I kept my left door closed, picked up and delivered on time and didn't back into stuff so they were pretty good to me.

I'd love to hear everything...good and bad about Millis. So please speak freely driver.

Not on this forum to tell stories just would have guessed I avg'd more until I sat down with the numbers and found out otherwise. I think you'll find that the regular posters here will all tell it like it is.

average miles are about 2800 wk, unless you are in the first year out of class, then you will average over 3,000.
drive from Tx east, mailny Wi to Ny to Ga, in a triangle.
trip pack (not the yellow one) that you mail in or drop at a terminal.
Home time is usually w/in 12 hours either way.
scales are put on commdata card at the J, TA, or Pilot. all others are reimbursed a few weeks after millis recieves your trip pack.
    That should help...

Thanks Husky...it is very helpful. So I guess you bump a bunch of the same docks? I like a change of pace but familiarity of where you are going is nice as well.
