I have been in every aspect of the trucking industry that you can think of. TL, LTL, brokerage, sales, operations, terminal mgr, capacity mgr.,on and on and on. Worked for big companies and small ones. Good and bad ones. Yes, I am old. I have even driven, never legally tho, LOL. That's my only regret. So, how smart am I? I think well this is the time to do it. I scraped up $4700 and went to a community college to take driving skills. Knowing full well that the industry is in the worst shape since the '30's. But, oh no, I think I'll be able to find a job. (I will) and with my industry knowledge they will be happy to have me be the person who meets and greets the customers. LMAO. An asset to any company. I see great humor in myself, lol. I go to school, I have serious problems with the backing skills. Wish I had a camera to film my sessions. That would be priceless. I had to quit for the winter due to the drive time etc and will go back mid March to resume making the instructor crazy. Go forward driving and the rest of it and I am a champ, backing is another issue... So that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Why did you want to know?

I noticed by all your post you defiantly knew your stuff, and I knew you were not a driver or o/o by some of your other post. So I was guessing dispatcher. LMAO
All in all I was amazed at how much you knew, thats why I am glad to have meet you.

At one time I was a ops manager for a mid sized truckload carrier, but I was too good hearted and got fired. Did operations for LTL too but not near as fun as the TL thing. If I had anyway to send money for all the nice things you're saying I would. (reason i am offering is cause I know I cant LOL) Until I found this site, I thought that I had become very stagnant but think I might have come back to life.

Now... Heres where you and I have a problem LOL you are putting me in the same group with 1POD, and that's pretty scary. JK, he's cool.

 

Another thing, if you go to flippin burgers, would you go to the Sonic over by ZonaRosa? I like that one.
