What are "Practical Miles"?

My difference between hub miles & paid miles stayed at nearly 10% over 3 years.

 

We get paid practical miles (more or less like Google Maps would route you, city to city, for fastest time). My average trip OOR is typically less then 2%, tracked across a quarter.

The "HHMG" miles days are pretty much behind us. If you're in fact regularly getting paid 8-12% short, and driving reasonable routes, you need to move elsewhere and quit whining. Hub miles is not fair due to those who are regularly "swinging by the girlfriend's house" on the boss's dime

 

I get paid hub miles and loving it.
