Yea I personally HATE DAC/USIS for the most part it only helps the company. I went to 1 day of orientation at JB Hunt and it shows on my DAC that I worked there for one month AND they had the nerve to send me a W-2 saying I earned $50 ! Where is this $50 bucks I earned?? I could use a good steak dinner....No affense to DACfix but I am afraid to use in fear they can't get rid of the things I need off just the JB Hunt and 2 temp jobs I applied at but did not accept the job! Thats all I want off...everything else I can deal with.....Nice to see a fellow Texas on here...:) Can I ask who you drive for?

No companies either, but I would love to see the companies that don't use DAC.

If I were you I'd look at the smaller, local companies near you to get a job. In this tough economy the smaller companies are most likely keeping their financial cards close to the vest so they aren't paying the for the subscription to the service. Do keep in mind however, they may call the Safety Director at the companies you list on your resume that you worked for. As long as you didn't tell the higher ups to take a long walk off a short pier (to be polite) you should be okay...

9 times out of 10 is most of the stuff bs on the dac reports. Most companies use them to try to get their way. I personally don't give a $#^^ about the dac. If the company your applying with uses it as a bible, red flag! I only have a couple leased on to me and just a few minutes talking with them and seeing their equipment gives a #### good picture on what that person is like. Of course you have the cdl report....another story.

I would also love to see companies where they don't use a dac that actually have a truck or two in the yard for someone who is needing a job. I have been turned down several times due to my dac. I am needing a job asap. Please.....

:biggrin_25510:Well I had a company sell me out in a scam,It took 2 years an $6000. Of my $;having a law suit against the company,an DAC.I dont regret the experience, but i had to drop the suit against DAC because the way there rules are (they are not at fault)I would have lost.''so a company can say whatever they want, an unless u have a law suit against them, the charge stayes on DAC'now USIS,which is now a bigger pain in the butte. After all the preliminary court appearances,an depositions,Having my life ruined for 2years;they settled out of court. The judge thought that was for the best. You have to go after the company,an after seing what a couple of lousey former companies put on my USIS report im on the war path again.People in controling positions can be real b!sterds, but when the company is threatened because of there actions,it makes them think twice.
